MONROE -Main Street Monroe and Colony Brands, Inc. has announced the line- up for the 2013 Concerts on the Square concert series.

The concert series will bring nine live shows to the downtown Square in Monroe, beginning Thursday, June 6, through Friday, Sept. 6. All concerts will be held on the west side of the Square from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with The Den serving as the rain location.

The concert schedule is:

• Thursday, June 6: The Briana Hardyman Band (soft rock and country rock)

• Thursday, June 20: Michael Perry and The Long Beds (country folk). This is the kick-off show with MAC and the Wisconsin Music Arts Festival.

• Friday, June 28: X-51 Band (contemporary rock)

• Thursday, July 11: The Family Business (blues, rock, reggae)

• Thursday, July 25: Mighty Short Bus (roots rock, country soul)

• Thursday, Aug. 8: Manny B Group (high energy)

• Friday, Aug. 16: Gypsy Holler (country rock)

• Thursday, Aug. 22: Raindogs (blues, rock)

• Friday, Sept. 6: The Fat Babies (jazz band). A dance contest will be held with prizes awarded.
