MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ will be holding its annual Autumn Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 in the fellowship hall, 1724 14th St.
The event is part of the church's 150th anniversary celebration.
Activities and events include a silent auction, bake sale and kid's activities. Homemade crafts and handiwork, including quilts and lap robes, will be for safe. There will be chance to win a queen-size tulip pattern quilt pieced and bound by Ila Duerst and hand quilted by St. John's Sewing Ladies.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Menu choices will be hot turkey dressing sandwich or Italian pasta casserole, green bean or spaghetti corn casserole, hot dogs and chips, salad, dessert and drink. Prices are $7 for adults/teens, $4 for children and children under 2 are free. Carry-outs will be available.
