MONROE - The Green County Sheriff's Department is investigating the thefts of three John Deere farm tractors that occurred April 24 and May 25.
The farm machinery was taken from three different rural Monroe residents, according to police.
Each tractor, police said, is valued over $17,000.
In one case, a shed was entered by force and the tractor was loaded on a trailer.
In the other two incidents, the tractors were driven away.
Green County Sheriff Jeff Skatrud said he was unsure how the tractors were taken, or how they suspects started them without keys.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have information on the case to contact the Green County Sheriff's Department detectives or Green County Crime Stoppers.
