DARLINGTON - A Milwaukee truck driver sustained serious injuries and was Med Flighted to Madison after his truck rolled over Wednesday on County E, Town of Darlington.
Robert C. D'Angelo, 61, reportedly entered a ditch and overcorrected, causing his truck to cross the centerline, strike a bridge guardrail and roll over in the opposite ditch.
D'Angelo was transported by Med Flight to the University of Wisconsin hospital. He was reported to be in fair condition Thursday afternoon.
The Darlington fire and police and Lafayette sheriff's departments responded to the scene, as did state patrol officers, the county highway department and Rural Medical Ambulance Service.
D'Angelo's truck sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
