MONROE — On January 1, Attorney Lance A. McNaughton became a shareholder in the law firm now known as Duxstad, Bestul. & McNaughton, S.C. With offices in Monroe and Darlington, the firm serves a wide range of clients in Green and Lafayette Counties and throughout Southern Wisconsin.
Lance has deep connections to the area, having started his legal career with a solo practice in the City of Shullsburg nearly 25 years ago. He served as mayor of Shullsburg and has served on the boards of the Lafayette Development Corporation, Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, Southwest Badger Resource Conversation & Development Council, and Greenco Industries, Inc. He joined Attorneys Duxstad and Bestul in 2014 and since then has focused on the firm’s estate planning, estate administration and real estate practices. Lance also works extensively with the area’s small business owners.
A graduate of Carthage College, Lance received his law degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University. Lance is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Council, and of the Real Estate and Elder Law sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
