Laf. Co. Historical Museum announces drawing winners, open house

DARLINGTON — The Lafayette County Historical Society held a “Bakeless Bake Sale” this past fall and recently announced the winners of the drawing for a Kammerud print of the winner’s choice:

Dorothy McGuigan of Blanchardville, Jeanne Tierney of Darlington, and June Purvis of Monroe. Each winner will get to visit the museum to collect their choice prize.

The Museum has been decorated for the holidays with displays of hand painted ornaments and elements of Christmas past throughout. All are welcome to come enjoy the museum from 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and by request. Masks and social distancing are required. There have been no cases of COVID-19 associated with the museum or staff.  

A holiday open house will be held at the museum from 1-7 p.m. Dec. 17 and 1-4 p.m. Dec. 18.  There will be cookies, shopping, and drawings for $35 gift certificates. For more information, call 608-776-8340.
