MONROE - The Parish Mobile Food Pantry of Green County is collecting personal care items for the low-income families it serves on the third Thursday of each month. Approximately 150 to 180 families (600 individuals) will benefit from this collection in August (Aug. 18).
Personal care items being collected include shampoo, hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste. All sizes and brands are accepted; unused and unopened items only.
Monetary donations also will be accepted to purchase the needed items. Individuals, businesses, churches, and civic organizations are being encouraged to either collect items or donate monetarily toward this project. Make checks payable to "Mobile Food Pantry" and send to St. Victor Church, 1760 14th St., Monroe, WI 53566. Items may be dropped off at St. Victor Church or the normal drop off doors at St. Vincent de Paul in Monroe.
