Entries sought for Dec. 6 parade

MONROE - Main Street Monroe is seeking entries for its 12th annual Christmas parade, planned for 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.

The parade is open to individuals, business and organizations that would like participate with an entry.

The parade will start at the Monroe Middle School north side/school district's parking lot, 1510 13th St., and proceed around the Square, returning to the parking lot.

Generators will be available from Precision Drive and Control, Inc., for any entry that needs electricity for lighting. Those who need a generator need to make arrangements to reserve and pick up a generator. There is a limited supply which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance after the parade at the Wisconsin Bank and Trust, 1717 10th St.
