MONROE — Robert M. Wilson, 51, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a two-vehicle accident in the Town of Spring Grove at 11:53 a.m. Monday, June 17. He was southbound on County G at Giese Road when he had to swerve and entered the west ditch to avoid colliding with a vehicle in his lane. The other vehicle was northbound and navigating through a staggered set of road closure signs when it hit one of the signs and sent the sign into Wilson’s path of travel. Wilson’s vehicle hit the sign. His vehicle sustained minor damage in the crash and was driven from the scene. The other vehicle, identified as a blue Ford Taurus with Illinois plates, had fled the scene. The driver has not been identified, and the incident remains under investigation.

●  Zachary L. Wenger, 31, Brodhead, reported injuries from a single-vehicle crash in the N1500 block of Mount Hope Road, Town of Spring Grove, at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday, June 19. He declined medical attention. He was southbound when he reported that he fell asleep. His vehicle left the road and entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Wenger was cited for failure to fasten seatbelt.

DARLINGTON — On Monday, June 17:

●  Chelsea M. Stauffacher, 28, Woodford, reported hitting a deer at 7:48 a.m. on County M, Town of Argyle. Her 2014 Kia sustained minor damage.

●  Abigail E. Williams, 21, Lyndon Station, reported hitting a deer at 9:39 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. Her 2015 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was towed.
