Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Christina E. Ferrer, 22, Brodhead, and her adult passenger reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash reported at 2:13 p.m. July 22 in the N500 block of Mount Hope Road, Town of Spring Grove. She was northbound when her vehicle had a mechanical failure, causing disabling damage. It was later removed.

DARLINGTON — On July 11:

●  A motorcycle vs. vehicle accident was reported at 3:21 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot. Stephen P. Cernek, 65, Gratiot, was driving a 2009 Dodge when he failed to yield the right-of-way, causing Randy J. Wehe, 29, Warren, to hit him. Wehe was transported to a hospital for his non-life threatening injuries. Wehe’s 2009 Kawasaki was severely damaged. Cernek’s Dodge sustained moderate damage. Gratiot First Response, the Gratiot Fire Department and Green County County EMS of Darlington assisted a deputy on scene.

On July 12:

●  Timothy A. White, 43, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 10:38 a.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington. His 2017 Ford sustained minor damage.

●  A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at 8:49 p.m. on County A, Town of Shullsburg. Connor J. Pahnke, 25, Shullsburg, was westbound when his 2019 Ram briefly crossed the centerline. The driver of an eastbound 2016 Harley Davidson, Quinn T. Hill, 32, Apple River, Illinois, became startled and also had visibility issues due to the sunlight, causing him to enter the ditch. No vehicle damages were reported.

On July 13:

●  Robert C. Noble, 54, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 4:57 a.m. on County W, Town of Monticello. No injuries were reported. His 2009 Ford sustained moderate damage.

●  Rachel M. Ritschard, 22, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 2:28 p.m. on Andrews Road, Town of Wayne. No injuries were reported. Her 2018 Dodge sustained moderate damage.
