WALCOTT, Iowa - Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Warren F. Dierickx, 86, a resident of Walcott will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1923 N. Fillmore Street, Davenport. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Big Rock, Iowa. Visitation will be Thursday at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, Davenport from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Mr. Dierickx died on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the Kahl Home in Davenport following an extended illness.
Memorials can be made to the Kahl Home or to the St. Patrick's Cemetery Fund.
Those left to honor his memory include his children and their spouses, Patrice and Dan Duncombe, North Aurora, IL; Yvonne Bennett, Davenport; Craig and Alice Dierickx, Monticello, WI; and Steven and Joyce Dierickx, Davenport; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Regina Bernat, Bettendorf and Maurita (Lloyd) Whisler, Lisbon, IA; and brothers, Paul (Nelda) Dierickx, Durant, IA; August (Joanne) Dierickx, Loyal, WI; John Dierickx, AZ; and Richard (Joyce) Dierickx, Bettendorf, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Anne Smith, as well as a daughter in infancy, and a sister, Lucille and a brother, Donald. May they rest in peace.
