WINSLOW - Virginia M. Mann, age 84, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on April 17, 1928 in West Point Township to Clifford and Bessie (Tieman) Broge. She married Ralph Mann at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena on December 25, 1947. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Virginia and her husband farmed all their lives, and she also worked at Swiss Colony for 20 years until retiring in June 2008. She enjoyed gardening, old time music and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed being with her family.

Virginia is survived by 4 children Larry (Deb) Mann of Monroe, WI, Lee (Gregory) Stamm of McConnell, IL, Lynne Haight (friend Art Jaeger) of Lena, IL and Kathy (Jerry) Miller of North Pekin, IL, 7 grandchildren Tina (Cleveland) Hargrow, Dennis (Carla) Mann, Staci (Brian) Dunlavey, Dawn (Rick) Dikkers, Billie Jo (Eric) Runkle, Leslie (Clint) Bertram and Corrie Confer. 2 step-grandchildren, Danielle (Joe) Hubner and Devin (Tiffany) Miller, 14 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Helen Straight and Nelda Straight both of Buffalo, WY. 4 brothers Eugene (Ursie) Broge of Freeport, IL Allen (Phyllis) Broge of Sunset City, AZ, LaVerne (Linda) Broge of Winslow, Il and Norman (Mary Ann) Broge of Winslow, IL 1 sister-in-law Lucille (Ben) Lee of Freeport, IL, numerous nieces, nephews, and her dog "Polly."

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph on January 4, 1988 and 3 brothers in infancy.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena, IL.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Reverend Rick Bader will officiate the service.

Burial at the Lena Burial Park, Lena, IL.

A memorial has been established in her name.
