EVANSVILLE - Victor C. Paulson age 100 died September 22, 2011 at the Evansville Manor. Vic was born on February 17, 1911 the son of Jacob and Clara (Retrum) Paulson on a farm north of Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He was raised and educated in the Hollandale area, graduating from Hollandale High School in 1930. He farmed there until moving to Evansville in 1950.

Vic married Catherine Rosette Park Lovett on October 18, 1946 in Evansville. He worked for General Motors in Janesville and did house painting in the Evansville area.

He is survived by his son Dave (Teri) Lovett of Monroe, three grandchildren: Steve (Denice) Lovett of Monroe; Lynn Lovett of Oregon, WI; and Cindi (Alan) Berg of Argyle. Five great grandsons: Joseph Schutte of Bethlehem PA; Chris (Liz) Lovett and their children Ava and Kaylee of Monroe; Kyle (Lindsey) Schutte and their children Charles Victor and Josie of Oregon, WI; Mitch Berg of Waukeshaw, WI; and Kevin Berg of Milwaukee, WI; He is also survived by Teri's family, Julie Day and her family of Dubuque, IA; Rob (Sherry) Corbin and their family of Camanche, IA; and Stacie (Stave) Christensen and their family of Monroe, a sister Edna Helgeson of Mt. Horeb, and many nieces and nephews.

Victor was preceded id death by his wife Catherine on August 8, 1998, their still born son in 1948, his parents, four brothers: Issac, Ralph, George, and Norman; five sisters: Hazel Helgesen, Ruth Robb, Grace Ronnerud, Buelah Langfoss, and a sister in infancy. Also a daughter in-law, Alice Broughton Lovett, in 1991.

Per Victor's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday September 29, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church 312 South 3rd Street, Evansville, Wisconsin with Reverend Matthew Poock officiating followed by a lunch and fellowship. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church on Thursday. Burial will follow later that afternoon in Maple Hill Cemetery Evansville. Ward Funeral Home Evansville is assisting the family. The family suggests memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church Evansville or the Salvation Army.
