Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Deputies were dispatched for a one-vehicle accident reported at about 3 a.m. Sunday to a residence in the N2200 block of County K in Clarno township. Deputies report a 2002 truck owned by Brandon J. Drafall, 24, Monroe, was traveling south when it failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, overturned and hit a barn owned by Susan A. Sacker, 44, Monroe. The occupant, or occupants, left the scene. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Deputies are investigating the crash.

• A vehicle driven by Jeffrey E. Erstad, 40, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 7 a.m. Saturday in the N9600 block of County O in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9 a.m. Friday on County KK in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven Diane F. Rosenteil, 61, Browntown, left the road and overturned. She was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident reported at about 9:45 a.m. Friday. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Genevieve M. Shepherd, 19, Benton, swerved to avoid an animal and went into a cornfield. The vehicle received moderate damage. No further information was available.
