MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident with property damage at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Old Madison Road in the town of New Glarus. Deputies report a semi operated by a Cory D. Schreiner, 30, Winneconne, was turning south onto Wis. 69 from Old Madison Road and struck a guide wire that supported a utility pole. The utility pole was pulled down, but there was no damage to the semi. The utility pole was put back in place by the power company. No citations were issued.

• At about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, a report of a hit and run traffic accident occurred at W5222 County KK in the Town of Monroe. Deputies report a vehicle owned by a Josie J. Pippenger, 26, Monroe, received minor rear end damage while it was legally parked. The investigation continues.

• Joey D. Jaeggi, 47, rural Monroe, was northbound on Wisconsin 69 near Cold Springs Road in the Town of Monroe at about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday when a deer ran into the passenger side of the truck causing moderate damages. Jaeggi was able to drive the vehicle from the scene. The deer was a large buck that ran off and was not located.

• Deborah A. Solace, 56, Lena, Ill., was southbound on Wis. 69, .2 miles north of Dean Lane in New Glarus Township, at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, when she struck a deer. The vehicle received severe damage and remained at the scene. The deer fled the scene.
