Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured when a vehicle hit a pedestrian at about 4:30 p.m. at 6th Street and 22nd Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Carol J. Krupke, 63, Monroe, hit a pedestrian identified as Anna E. Niederberger, 82, Monroe. Niederberger was taken to the Monroe Clinic by Green County Emergency Medical Services.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Saturday at 8th Street and 10th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Jason L. Thompson, 30, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Tracy L. Lange, 30, South Wayne. Lange's vehicle received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Steven M. Figi, 22, Juda, was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to report an accident following a one-vehicle accident at about 3 a.m. Sunday on County K near Town Center Road in Jefferson township. Deputies report his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch and came to rest in a creek. Figi was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on Decatur Road at County F in Decatur township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Melissa A. Chicker, 40, Monticello, went through an intersection, went into a ditch, swiped a utility pole, went through a fence and into a field. Chicker was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and driving with an expired registration. She was released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday in the N7900 block of Loyalty Road in York township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Lonnie L. Krebs, 47, Blanchardville, swerved to avoid a truck stopped in the road, went into a ditch and hit a fence and guide wire for a utility pole. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle owned by Shane C. Ward, Madison, was hit by a vehicle while parked in a driveway at about 10 a.m. Sunday on Hannah Road in Exeter township. The vehicle that hit Ward's vehicle left the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Calli F. Berget, 18, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 69 near Wittenwyler Road in Mount Pleasant township. The vehicle received minor damages.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township. Jodi Dobson, 34, Darlington, was cited for drunken driving, driving after revocation causing injury, driving after revocation and failure to have vehicle under control. Dobson and her passenger were taken to Lafayette Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

• Bryan F. Brabender, 53, Madison, reported striking a deer at about 6 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township.

• A vehicle driven by Raymond L. Fawcett, 36, Benton, hit a deer at about 10:15 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 in New Diggings township.

• A vehicle driven by Roger Birkett, 57, Potosi, hit a deer at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 in Argyle township.

• A vehicle driven by David Jorgenson, 60, Gratiot, hit a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday on Cisserville Road in Wiota township.
