MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7 a.m. Tuesday on County P, west of Allen Road, in the Town Cadiz. Deputies report Carissa L. McCormick, 32, Argyle, was westbound in dense fog when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree. McCormick sustained injuries and was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital by private vehicle. The vehicle received severe damage to the front end and was to be towed from the scene.
One person was injured in a deer-vehicle collision at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Hefty Road, near County N, in the Town of Washington. Deputies report Jeremy J. Ace, 33, Monticello, was westbound on Hefty Road when his vehicle collided with a deer. Ace was injured but declined medical attention. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Jacob J. Marty, 17, Monticello, was southbound on Feldt Road when his vehicle collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the N5800 block of Feldt Road, Town of Mount Pleasant. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

Joseph P. Long, 81, Iowa City, Iowa, reported striking a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 in Benton township. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
