Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7 a.m. Tuesday on County P, west of Allen Road, in the Town Cadiz. Deputies report Carissa L. McCormick, 32, Argyle, was westbound in dense fog when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree. McCormick sustained injuries and was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital by private vehicle. The vehicle received severe damage to the front end and was to be towed from the scene.

• One person was injured in a deer-vehicle collision at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Hefty Road, near County N, in the Town of Washington. Deputies report Jeremy J. Ace, 33, Monticello, was westbound on Hefty Road when his vehicle collided with a deer. Ace was injured but declined medical attention. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• One person was injured in a deer-vehicle collision at about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the N7600 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Tammie J. Holmquist, 49, Monroe, collided with a deer. Holmquist sustained injuries. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• Gary A. Schreiner, 30, Stockton, Ill., was eastbound on Wis. 11 when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 near Cadiz Springs Road, in the Town of Cadiz. The vehicle received moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

• Jacob J. Marty, 17, Monticello, was southbound on Feldt Road when his vehicle collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the N5800 block of Feldt Road, Town of Mount Pleasant. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Ronald G. Schardt, 67, Shullsburg, reported striking a deer at about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• Joseph P. Long, 81, Iowa City, Iowa, reported striking a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 in Benton township. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
