MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Eighth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Edward A. Stampfli Jr., 32, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Lana J. Roper, 24, Argyle. Stampfli was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received moderate to extensive damage.

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:45 p.m. Friday in the N7200 block of Attica Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michael E. Cavin, 18, Albany, left the road and hit a power pole. A wire on the power pole was knocked loose and Alliant Energy was called to the scene. The vehicle received extensive damage. Cavin was cited for driving too fast for conditions and released pending court.
• No one was injured when a vehicle hit a mattress that came out of a trailer at about 11 a.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 south of Melvin Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Rhonda B. Brown, 51, Lacresent, Minn., was traveling north when a mattress came out of a trailer pulled by a vehicle driven by William J. Scott, 57, Orangeville. Brown's vehicle received moderate damage. Scott was cited for failure to have a load secured and was released pending court.
• A vehicle driven by Casey W. Wirth, 20, Monroe, hit a tree in the road at about 6 p.m. Friday in the W6200 block of Vogel Road. The vehicle received minor damage,
• A Green County Sheriff's Department squad car hit a deer at about 2:30 a.m. Friday on County E south of Decatur-Albany Road. The Brodhead Police Department conducted the crash investigation. No further information was available.
• A vehicle driven by Melissa M. Bartow, 26, Monroe, hit a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Friday in the N7900 block of County J. The vehicle received moderate damage.
• A vehicle driven by Paul L. Risley, 31, Monticello, hit a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Friday in the W7000 block of Wis. 39. The vehicle received moderate damage.
• A vehicle driven by Wilma C. Duncan-Anderson, collided with a deer at about 11:15 a.m. Friday on Wis. 81 near Joy Del Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.
• A vehicle driven by Spresim Useini, 28, Belleville, hit a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Friday in the W800 block of Wis. 92. The vehicle received minor damage.
