Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Deputies and Monroe Police responded at 7:56 p.m. Friday to a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 11 westbound off ramp and Wis. 81 interchange in Monroe. No injuries were reported when Qin Yan Gao, 33, Monroe entered the intersection after stopping at the stop sign and failed to yield the right of way. Gao collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Skylar A. Kiss, 30, New Glarus. Gao's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The vehicle driven by Kiss received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Amanda J. Baumgartner struck a deer in the N6800 block of Wis. 104 in Brooklyn.

On Saturday:

• Lynn M. Epping struck a deer in the N6300 block of Wis. 69 in Mt. Pleasant.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported when David P. Badertscher, 25, Darlington, struck a deer at 3:48 a.m. on County F in Darlington Township. His 2008 Dodge Ram sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when a tractor driven by Jose C. Trego, Sr., 50, Shullsburg, at 11:24 a.m. on Tin Bridge Road in New Diggings Township disconnected from a manure spreader, which then struck a pole. The tractor, owned by Darlington Ridge Farms, had minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Jan M. Hilliard, 54, Argyle, struck a deer on South Lake Road in Fayette Township. Hilliard's 2013 Jeep sustained minor damage.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported when Eunice F. Jenson, 60, South Wayne, struck a deer at 6:44 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Wiota Township. Jenson's 2015 Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• Kenneth D. Russell, 73, Beloit, struck a deer at 12:04 a.m. on County G in Argyle Township. His 2014 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.

• Ryan Rygh, 28, South Wayne, struck a deer at 1:03 p.m. on Miller Lane in Wiota Township. His 2013 Ford received minor damage and no injuries were reported.

• Idalia G. Morales, 22, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license after she hit a horse with her vehicle at 8:44 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township. Morales was traveling eastbound on Wis. 81 when she struck a horse that was in the middle of the roadway. The 2002 Chevrolet, owned by Luis A. Oritz-Campos, 23, Darlington, sustained severe damage and was towed. Belmont Fire Department, Belmont Ambulance Service and Belmont Police Department assisted. Morales was transported by ambulance with minor injuries.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Friday:

• Minor injuries were reported to one driver at 7:29 a.m. when police came upon a two-vehicle crash at 5th Avenue and 2nd Street. Karstyn Q. Rossing, 16, New Glarus was cited for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign.

On Saturday:

• Non-life-threatening injuries were reported after a lone motorcycle occupant lost control while negotiating a curve and was ejected at 11:59 a.m. in the 100 block of Cow Path Lane. The driver was transported to a Madison hospital. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage.
