MONROE - On Monday, Oct. 22:

• No injuries were reported at 5:38 a.m. after Matthew D. Cole, 54, Browntown, collided with a deer on County M south of East Park Street in the Town of Cadiz. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:30 a.m. after Dennis L. Benson, 61, Monticello, collided with a deer in the N7200 block of Marshall Bluff Road in the Town of Exeter. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Thomas R. Kubly, 66, and his passenger Carol C. Kubly, 60, both of Monticello, were taken to Meriter Hospital's ER for treatment of injuries they sustained in a one-vehicle crash at 6:59 p.m. on County D at Wisconsin 92 in the Town of Exeter. Kubly was southbound on County D when he failed to stop for a stop sign and traveled through the intersection, into the ditch, and collided with the embankment. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed. Contributing factors in the crash were dense fog and driving too fast for conditions. Belleville firefighters, EMS and police assisted deputies.
