MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Wisconsin 69 and Aebly Road. Police report a vehicle driven by Brandi L. Carpenter, 29, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Scott C. Segner, 54, Monroe. Carpenter was cited for inattentive driving.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the W5900 block of Wis. 81. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Margaret R. Busjahn, 76, Monroe, pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Ricky A. Voegli, 43, Monroe. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Busjahn's vehicle was towed from the scene. Busjahn was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign. She was released pending court.

• Eric J. Pickett, 33, Brodhead, was arrested for sixth-offense drunken driving, driving after revocation, a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and open intoxicants in a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 11 near Airport Road in Decatur township. Deputies report his vehicle left the road and went into a ditch. Pickett was jailed.

• A vehicle driven by Julia M. Xistris, 42, New Glarus, hit a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on County N north of Hefty Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Donna L. Douglas, 69, Monroe, hit a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the N5800 block of Wis. 69.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:45 a.m. Friday on Short Cut Road in Willow Springs township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Aaron T. Nielsen, 30, Darlington, failed to negotiate a curve and rolled. Nielsen was cited for failure to have control of a vehicle, unsafe tires and a seatbelt violation. The truck received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Ryan M. Peed, 20, Kewanee, Ill., hit a deer, left the road, hit a fence and hit a utility pole. Neither Reed nor his four passengers were injured. He was cited for failure to have control of his vehicle. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• A vehicle driven by Joseph L. Wedig, 48, Darlington, hit a deer at about 8 p.m. Friday on Ames Road in Darlington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Dean R. Brooker, 51, Warren, Ill., hit a deer at about 11:45 p.m. Friday on County DD in Wayne township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Thomas J. Bergen, 58, New Berlin, hit a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jessica R. Bower, 19, Madison, hit a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 151 in Kendall township. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• A vehicle driven by Tiffany R. Ditzenberger, 29, South Wayne, hit a raccoon on Wis. 11 in Wayne township. The vehicle received minor damage.
