MONROE - James E. Munn II, 26, Orfordville, was not injured when he collided with two cows at about 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, in the W7200 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Clarno. He was driving a milk truck owned by Strunz Milk Transport when he came upon numerous head of cattle in the westbound lane of Wis. 11. He braked and swerved but was unable to avoid hitting and killing two of the cows. Munn and his passenger were uninjured. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed. The owner of the cattle, Timothy M. McGuire, Monroe, was contacted and removed the animals.
No injuries and non-disabling vehicle damage were reported in the following deer vs. vehicle collisions:
• Mary Goonan, 58, Belleville, on Wis. 69 north of Wittenwyler Road in the Town of Mount Pleasant at 11:33 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21.
• Jack W. Marheine, 48, Monroe, in the N9600 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22.
