MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred on 25th Street at 15th Avenue at 7:59 a.m. Friday. Kathleen M. King, 61, Monroe, was driving a vehicle that hit another vehicle being driven by a 17-year-old girl from Monroe. King was cited for vehicle windows not reasonably clean.

MONROE - On Friday:
Chelsea M. Kamppi, 24, Woodford, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W9300 block of Wisconsin 11, Cadiz Township, at 5:20 a.m. Kamppi was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.
Duwayne L. Fenner, 50, Monticello, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W1000 block of Dunphy Road, Albany Township, at 4:58 p.m. Fenner was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.
On Saturday:
Roderick C. Crawford, 40, Freeport, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 69 south of Melvin Road, Town of Clarno, at 1:19 a.m. Crawford was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway causing the vehicle to slide west off the roadway and into the ditch. Roderick reported injuries but refused medical treatment. The vehicle was moderately damaged and left in the ditch until road conditions improved.
Keith R. Wanta, 37, New Glarus, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash in the 800 block of 10th Avenue, Village of New Glarus, at 4:21 a.m. Wanta was negotiating a curve when he lost control of his pickup truck on the ice-covered roadway and sideswiped a legally parked vehicle on the east side of the street. Wanta's truck was moderately damaged and driven from the scene. The unoccupied vehicle sustained damage to the driver's side and the owner was notified of the crash.
While the deputies were investigating the crash listed above, a second vehicle hit the same parked vehicle. Randy L. Purcell, 61, Cedarburg, was negotiating the same curve and lost control of his SUV on the ice-covered roadway and rear-ended the same parked vehicle at 5:08 a.m. Purcell and his passenger Richard L. Purcell, 30, Kensington, Md., were uninjured in the crash. Randy Purcell's vehicle was towed from the scene. The parked vehicle sustained additional moderate damage to the rear of the vehicle. The owner was notified of the second collision and moved the vehicle into a driveway to prevent more collisions.
Kendra L. Cox, 26, Belleville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on County O south of Primrose Center Road, Town of New Glarus, at 10:32 a.m. Deputies responded to an unoccupied vehicle in the ditch and later contacted Cox, who reported she lost control of her vehicle on the ice-covered road and ended up in the ditch. Cox was warned for driving too fast for conditions.
John N. Binversie, 46, Albany, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W300 block of County C, Town of Brooklyn, at 4:52 p.m. Binversie was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene. The deer was killed in the accident and was moved to the road for pickup.
Bradley S. Smith, 31, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W2600 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson, at 6:56 p.m. Smith was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene. The deer was not located.
Anette L. Schwarz, 31, Browntown, and her passenger were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W7700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz, at 7:19 p.m. Sunday. Schwarz was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded at 11:26 p.m. Friday to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on U.S. 151, Township of Belmont.
On Saturday:
Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a vehicle vs. Amish buggy accident on Sunnydale Road, Belmont Township, at 6:53 a.m. Brandon Blum, 20, Montfort, was southbound and lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway causing the vehicle to slide sideways and into the northbound lane. Henry Beiler, 22, Platteville, was traveling northbound in a buggy and was unable to avoid the Blum vehicle, hitting the passenger side of Blum's vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. The buggy was removed by a private party. Blum and Bieler were treated at the scene by Belmont Ambulance personnel. Belmont Fire Department, Belmont Township officials and deputies assisted on scene.
Christa Abell, 40, Potosi, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township, at 4:16 p.m.
On Sunday:
A deputy took a report of a hit-and-run accident that occurred at a location on Milwaukee Street, Village of Argyle, at 12:40 a.m.
Keith A. Wiegel, 42, Boscobel, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Wisconsin 23, Darlington Township, at 6:18 p.m. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - On Saturday:
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Brandi's Bridal Galleria. Taylor D. Twedt, 20, Madison, was driving a vehicle that hit a legally parked vehicle owned by Mallorie Martland, Monroe. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Wis. 69. Sara Fredrickson, New Glarus, was stopping and attempting to make a right-hand turn when her vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Lisa M. Pernot, Monroe. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.
