Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• Daniel Rudy Gerber, 22, Albany, was uninjured in a one-vehicle rollover crash in the W1500 block of County EE, Town of Albany, at 9:25 a.m. Gerber was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle while traveling up a slight hill and slid off the road. The vehicle rolled over, hitting a wooden embankment on the south side of the road, coming to rest on its top. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• Denise K Fenne, 56, Belleville, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred on Wisconsin 69 south of Exeter Crossing Road, Town of New Glarus, at 5:07 p.m. Fenne was northbound on Wis. 69 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.

• Jack A. Melvin, 69, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N4100 block of Golf Course Road, Town of Decatur, at 5:14 p.m. Fenne was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Joseph W. Mellem, 38, Monticello, was uninjured in a deer vs. truck accident that occurred on Wis. 69 south of Exeter Crossing Road, Town of New Glarus, at 5:21 p.m. Fenne was southbound on Wis. 69 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his truck. The truck was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Laura Joyce Redding, 55, Dubuque, and her passengers were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N8500 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Cadiz, at 7:16 p.m. Redding was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Andrew Bockhop, 28, Belmont, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on U.S. 151, Kendall Township, at 7:38 a.m.

• Matthew Jellison, 24, Dubuque, reported hitting a mailbox with his vehicle on College Farm Road, Elk Grove Township, at 10:42 a.m. Minor damage was reported.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a snow plow vs. pickup truck crash that occurred at the intersection of Wisconsin 81/23 and Main Street, at 7:30 a.m. Monday. A Darlington City plow driven by Charles Keister, 57, Darlington, was northbound on Main Street and hit a truck driven by Cole Gollmer, 17, Darlington, as Gollmer reportedly failed to yield right-of-way and pulled into the path of the plow. The intersection was closed off for about 90 minutes while crews off-loaded the contents of the plow truck so it could be towed from the scene. Gollmer was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.
