GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - No injuries were reported at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday after Christopher J. James, 23, Argyle, rear-ended the vehicle of Paul M. Dammen, 68, Monroe, on Wisconsin 81, Town of Monroe. James was reportedly talking on his phone and did not notice the Dammen vehicle, which was stopped to make a left turn. James was cited for inattentive driving. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:
• No injuries were reported at 5:43 a.m. after Joshua H. Carson, 32, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
• No injuries were reported at 5:05 p.m. after Cody A. James, 21, Argyle, struck a deer on County G, Town of Argyle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
