Monroe Police

MONROE - Injuries were reported at 7:13 a.m. Thursday following a vehicle accident. A 74-year-old Monroe woman was hit by a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Monroe woman. The 74-year-old pedestrian was transported to Monroe Clinic by EMS for non-life threatening injuries. The accident is still under investigation.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:50 p.m., following a deer vs. vehicle accident. Ray A. Polkinghorn, 49, Madison, was traveling northbound in the N200 block of County T in the Town of Spring Grove when he hit a deer. The vehicle received moderate front passenger-side quarter panel damage.

• Deputies responded to a vehicle vs. deer accident at 9:54 p.m. in the W900 block of Bump Road in the Town of Albany. Brittany Lee Flood, 32, Janesville, was eastbound on Bump Road when she hit a deer. The vehicle received severe front-end and front passenger-side damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Michael H. Stietz, 57, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 2:22 a.m. Thursday on County D in Lamont Township.
