MONROE - Amanda K. Meighan, 21, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash in the N2000 block of Jeffery Road, Town of Clarno. Meighan was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle, entered the ditch and hit a mailbox. She then fled the scene. Meighan was cited at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday for inattentive driving, driving while suspended and driving without vehicle insurance. She was released pending court. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
On Thursday:
Alyssa M. Kittleson, 23, Mineral Point, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a turkey vs. vehicle accident in the N9100 block of Wisconsin 78, Town of York. Kittleson was southbound when a turkey hit her windshield. Kittleson sustained injuries and was transported via private vehicle for treatment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
Heather M. Kallembach, 38, Argyle, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash in the W7400 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan, at 9:21 p.m. Kallembach was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
