MONROE - A vehicle driven by Kurt M. Fuchs, 47, Monroe, hit a deer around 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of Wisconsin 69. The vehicle received moderate damage.

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday on Burke Road in Seymour township. Deputies report a sprayer truck driven by John T. Gevelinger, 60, Cuba City, turned into a field when the arm of the sprayer hit a vehicle driven by Robert P. Wiegel, 61, Shullsburg. Wiegel's vehicle left the road, went into a ditch and rolled. Wiegel sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene. Wiegel's van received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on Old Q Road in Blanchard township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Melvin A. Jerrett, 26, Darlington, pulled into the road from a private driveway and hit a vehicle driven by Ann K. Thornton, 60, Brodhead. Thornton's vehicle received moderate damage and Jerrett's vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Bernardino Salazar Garcia, 34, South Wayne, left the road, went into a ditch and hit an embankment. He then fled the scene. Salazar Garcia was cited for failure to control a vehicle, failure to notify police of an accident and driving without a valid driver's license. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
