Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Robert L. Urben, 65, New Glarus, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N5700 block of County N, Washington Township, at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday. Urben was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained very severe damage and was towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Donald R. Euler, 35, Apple River, Ill., was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on County P, Gratiot Township, at 5:01 a.m. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Rachel K. Lueder, 17, Platteville, reported no injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Ipswitch Road, Elk Grove Township, at 8:05 a.m. Lueder's vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway, where she attempted to correct and slid sideways back onto the roadway. The vehicle then drove off the right side of the roadway again, hitting a tree and a fence. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was removed by the owner.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 78, Argyle Township. Charles W. Frutiger, 63, Oregon, was westbound on Spore Road approaching the intersection of Wis. 78 and Spore Road. A second vehicle being driven by Cory L. Schultz-Lincicum, 19, South Wayne, was northbound on Wis. 78. Frutiger attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection and his vehicle was hit by Scultz-Lincicum's vehicle. Frutiger and his passenger Lori Bennett, 51, Madison, reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Schultz-Lincicum and his passengers Andy R. Baumgartner, 19, South Wayne, and Justin A. Zirott, 23, South Wayne, all reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. As a result of the accident, Frutiger was cited at 3:08 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way.
