Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On April 28:

♦ No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 8:35 a.m. in the W8700 block of Wis. 39 in the Town of York. Hope G. Jensen, 19, Blanchardville, was eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

♦ No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 12:27 p.m. in the N1500 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Monroe. Julio Vacquez, 16, Monroe, was southbound when his vehicle left the road and entered the ditch. The vehicle struck a utility pole and then overturned. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Vacquez was cited for operating without a license and no insurance. He was released pending court.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On April 23:

♦ A traffic crash was reported at 9:51 a.m. in the 1700 block of 1st Center Avenue. A vehicle damaged a power pole. Due to this occurring on private property, no citations were issued.

On April 24:

♦ A traffic crash was reported at 12:48 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Due to this incident being on private property, no citations were issued.

On April 26:

♦ A traffic crash was reported at 3:08 p.m. in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue. One vehicle backed into another stopped vehicle. Both vehicles left the scene prior to an officer's arrival.

On April 27:

♦ A traffic crash was reported at 8 a.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street. A fork lift hit a vehicle. The matter remains under investigation.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On April 24:

♦ Minor injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 10:16 a.m. in the 1600 block of 2nd Street. A 2004 Ford Escape collided with a parked 2011 Chevrolet Suburban. Rebecca L. Marselle, 38, New Glarus, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while suspended.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On April 27:

♦ No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 2:41 p.m. on County P in Monticello Township. Donald E. Heitter, 59, Prospect Heights, Illinois, was traveling on County P when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail. Heitter's 1997 Pontiac sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On April 28:

♦ A two-vehicle crash was reported at 12:45 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township. As a result, Ava M. Volkening, 20, Darlington, was cited for inattentive driving.

On April 29:

♦ No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash was reported at 11:57 a.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle. Roberto A. Marroquin, 41, Milwaukee, was backing out of a parking stall when his pull-behind trailer struck a parked vehicle owned by Alyssa C. Teasdale, 22, Marion, Iowa. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

On April 30:

♦ Deputies assisted Darlington Police with a motorcycle crash at 2:38 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington. William K. Miller, 74, Platteville, was traveling on Wis. 23 when his motorcycle hit some debris on the roadway causing him to lose control. Miller's 2009 Harley Davidson sustained minor damage. Miller was transported for minor injuries. Darlington Fire Department and Paramount Ambulance Service assisted on scene.

♦ No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 4:29 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township. Kenneth L. Cross, 65, Mineral Point, was parked on the north side on Wis. 23 getting his mail. Cross took a right hand turn to enter into his driveway not seeing the 2009 Dodge driven by Lisa L. Mullen, 38, Darlington. Cross' 2014 Ford and Mullen's 2009 Dodge sustained minor damage. Cross was cited for left of center.

♦ Kevin R. Bahr, 54, Darlington, was driving farm machinery when he struck a telephone pole, causing the pole to split at 6:37 p.m. on Holland Road in Kendall Township. Alliant Energy assisted on scene.
