BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - No injuries were reported at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday after a vehicle backed into another vehicle in the 2300 block of West 5th Avenue.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• A driver was injured at 2:23 a.m. after Karissa M. Hauger, 24, Stoughton, swerved to avoid a deer and overturned in a ditch in the N7500 block of County E, Town of Brooklyn. Hauger was then transported away by Cole A. Normington, 27, Albany. Hauger declined medical attention for her injuries and was cited for failing to inform police of an accident, driving left of the centerline, failing to maintain control of her vehicle, driving with open intoxicants and a seatbelt violation. Normington was cited for assisting a person fleeing an accident scene.

• A motorcyclist was injured at 1:04 p.m. after the motorcycle of Edward A. Best, 51, Madison, rear-ended the vehicle of John L. Ross, 46, Evansville, in the N7800 block of Wisconsin 104, Town of Brooklyn. Best was transported to a local hospital for his injuries; Ross was uninjured. The motorcycle sustained severe damage and was towed; Ross' vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A driver was injured at 7:13 p.m. after Olivia L. J. Halvorson, 28, Browntown, swerved to avoid a raccoon and entered a ditch in the N5100 block of County M, Town of Adams. Halvorson declined medical attention for her injuries and was cited for driving with a revoked license and without vehicle insurance. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday, a driver was injured at 5:29 p.m. after Sylvia O. Klitzke, 77, Monticello, struck the vehicle of Cynthia K. Sevensen, 53, Monroe, in the N3000 block of Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. Sevenson was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Klitzke was uninjured. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.

On Sunday, a motorcyclist was injured at 3:26 p.m. after Randy C. Halvorsen, 45, Monticello, struck a deer in the N5200 block of Rechsteiner Road, Town of Mount Pleasant. Halvorsen declined medical attention for his injuries. His motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 3:47 p.m. after a tree fell on a tractor being driven by Joshua C. Larson, 44, Gratiot, on Dunbarton Road, Town of Gratiot. His tractor sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:40 p.m. after a crash on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:53 p.m. after Aleigha K. Sigafus, 19, Gratiot, lost control of an ATV and overturned on County G, Town of Fayette. Sigafus was cited for underage drinking, careless driving of an ATV, driving an ATV on a highway and without a certificate.

• No injuries were reported at 10:52 p.m. after Richard A. Dellabella, 77, Cuba City, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
