GREEN COUNTY Sheriff

Monroe - A vehicle driven by Jacob A. Hambley, 20, Davis Ill., hit a deer around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in the W1200 block of Shanghai Road. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by John M. Bockhop, 33, Monticello, hit a deer around 11:45 p.m. Monday in the N9300 block of Wisconsin 69. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 81 in Argyle township. Thomas F. Hite, 48, Elgin, Ill., was injured when gusty winds caused him to lose control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve. The motorcycle traveled into the ditch and overturned. Argyle EMS and Argyle Fire Departments assisted at the scene. Hite was transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. The motorcycle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
