BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - No injuries were reported at 6:07 p.m. on May 30 after a vehicle struck a traffic sign in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 4:34 p.m. after Patrick E. Sheely, 51, Oregon, Illinois, struck a stop sign in the W2600 block of Wisconsin 11. Sheely was arrested for driving while intoxicated, fifth offense, and was cited for committing a hit-and-run.

• No injuries were reported after Kerry R. Karlen, 59, Monticello, struck a deer in the N5300 block of Buckskin Road, Town of Washington.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported after Vassiliki Karabatsos, 74, Brodhead, struck a deer in the N4800 block of Wis. 104, Town of Decatur.

On Sunday:

• A motorcyclist was injured at 3:55 p.m. after Larry J. Smith, 48, Oak Creek, lost control of his bike and overturned in the N500 block of County M, Town of Cadiz. Smith was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was cited for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance. His motorcycle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Roberta R. Stricker, 44, Browntown, struck a deer in the N3700 block of County M, Town of Jordan.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 12:15 p.m. after Edward R. Coates, 61, Monroe, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 4 p.m. after Stephanie L. Eastwood, 58, Argyle, backed into the vehicle of Terri J. Makos, 53, Argyle, on County C, Town of Argyle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
