Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a car-versus-bicycle accident at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday at Zurfluh Road and Fiedler Road. Deputies report a 10-year-old male from Albany went through the intersection and was hit by a vehicle driven by Robert D. Martinson, Garden, Mich. The boy was taken to Monroe Clinic by Albany Emergency Medical Services. The vehicle and the bicycle received minor damages.

• David J. Richardson, 50, Edgerton, was arrested for drunken driving and failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a motorcycle accident at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the W2600 block of County C. Deputies report his motorcycle hit some gravel and was unable to negotiate a curve. Richardson was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet. Richardson was taken to an area hospital for injuries.

• One person was injured in a car-versus-deer accident at about 5 a.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 11 near County KK. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Melanie K. Gerber, 42, Monroe, collided with a deer. Gerber was transported by Green County EMS for injuries. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Nicholas R. Kraus, 18, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 1 a.m. Saturday in Wisconsin 69 at Spring Valley Road. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Rachele J. Thompson, 16, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday on County SS west of Balls Mill Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Payton W. Collins, 21, Gratiot, was arrested for criminal damage to property following a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Saturday in a private driveway on South Dublin Road. Deputies report Collins drove his truck into another vehicle. Collins was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Patricia J. Stauffacher, 59, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 81 in Lamont township. The vehicle received moderate damages.

• A vehicle driven by MacKenzie K. Boyle, 16, Darlington, hit a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on Hill Point Road in Seymour township. The vehicle received moderate damages.

• A vehicle driven by Kong Yang, 22, Oshkosh, hit a deer at about 9 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. The vehicle received moderate damages.
