Monroe Police

MONROE - Officers responded to a one-vehicle accident at about 2 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of 11th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Betty V. Wahl, 76, Argyle, hit a building causing moderate damage to the building. No further information was available.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Corey R. Erickson, 23, Argyle, hit a deer at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the N6800 block of County A. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday on South Oak Park Road in Kendall township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Scott P. Upmann failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit a fence. Upmann was transported to Upland Hills Hospital for injuries. The cycle received extensive damage and was towed. Upmann was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle.

• A vehicle driven by Terry L. Johnson, 59, Darlington, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Friday on Holland Road in Seymour township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Logan W. Taylor, 19, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Friday on County K in Darlington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
