GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Patterson Road in Clarno township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Russell C. Brown, 49, Monroe, crossed a bridge and failed to negotiate a curve. He sustained injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Monroe Clinic. The motorcycle received moderate damages and was removed from the scene.

• Derek M. Lewis, 19, Monroe, was arrested for driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs following a one-vehicle accident at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 69 near Exeter Crossing Road in New Glarus township. Deputies report his vehicle left the road and crashed into a ditch on the east side of the highway. He was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Amber L. Rockey, 22, Fitchburg, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 69 near Washington Road in Washington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• Vicki A. Weiss, 52, rural Browntown, was westbound on County B near Honey Creek Road in the Town of Clarno at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday when a deer collided with her vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Daniel J. Kundert, 18, Monroe, was arrested for drunken driving after deputies responded to a report a two men standing outside of a vehicle at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at Steiner Road and Franklin Road in Cadiz township. A passenger in the vehicle, Jay H. Gierhart, 19, Monroe, was cited for underage drinking. They were released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on Aebly Road at Rolling Acres in Monroe township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Dee Jaye Miles, 42, Monroe, swerved to avoid a cat and hit a mailbox. The vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9 p.m. Sunday at Burkhalter Road and Meyers Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Abbey M. Schneide, 16, Monroe, was turning and drove into a ditch. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Kim A. Bowman, 53, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 9 p.m. Saturday in the N3800 block of County J. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Adam M. Askey, 19, Belleville, collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the N8500 block of County X in Exeter township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• Vicki A. Weiss, 52, rural Browntown, was westbound on County B near Honey Creek Road in the Town of Clarno at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday when a deer collided with her vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday on Bethel Grove Road in Belmont township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Charles B. Halverson, 57, Mineral Point, overturned. Halverson was taken to Upland Hills Hospital by Belmont Emergency Medical Services. No further information was available.

• Jason A. Hendrickson, 37, Blanchardville, was arrested for drunken driving following a one-vehicle accident at about 10 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township. Hendrickson sustained injuries and declined medical transport. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 81 in Argyle township. Deputies report a utility truck driven by Eric N. Taylor, 28, Mineral Point, pulled onto the shoulder of the road and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by David W. Webster, 49, Argyle. Webster was cited for inattentive driving.

• One person was injured in an ATV accident at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday on the Cheese County Trail in Darlington township. Deputies report Robert H. Radley, 71, Stoughton, was injured when he lost control of the ATV he was operating. The vehicle left the trail and rolled over; Radley was ejected. Rural Medical Ambulance transported Radley to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital. Darlington Fire Department also assisted.

• Thomas W. Bonjour, 32, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on County DD in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Bryce Blackbourn, 18, Shullsburg, left the road and rolled over. Blackbourn sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Harold Heindel, 63, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 23 in Willow Spring township.

• A vehicle driven by Edward Bussan, 58, Gratiot, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in Wayne township.

• A vehicle driven by Kevin Zeller, Shullsburg, hit a dog at about 1 p.m. Sunday on Palfrey Road in Shullsburg township.

• A vehicle driven by Edward J. Edwards, 57, Darlington, ran over a deer at about 9 p.m. Tuesday on Wisconsin 23 in Darlington township. The deer had been hit by another vehicle and Edwards couldn't avoid running over the top of it.

• Thomas W. Bonjour, 32, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on County DD in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
