Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:27 a.m. Tuesday in the W4300 block of County C in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Reports indicate that Howard L. Drye, 45, Monroe, was going east on County C when he hit a deer. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

- Deputies responded to an abandoned vehicle with extensive damage at 7:55 p.m. Monday on County GG in Decatur. Reports indicate that Bryce R. Pinnow, 19, Brodhead, was driving the vehicle when a tie rod broke at about 1 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle veered off the road and into the ditch. It had severe damage and was not driveable.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Harland D. Chambers, 78, Mason, reported hitting a deer at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate that Chambers hit the deer sometime Saturday evening on County G in the Town of Fayette. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- Ashley L. Grinnell, 24, Darlington, reported hitting a dog at 4:55 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate that Grinnell hit the dog sometime Sunday evening on Hawley Road in the Town of Wiota. The vehicle had moderate damage.

- Injuries were reported during an ATV accident at 7:45 p.m. Monday on the Cheese County Trail in the Town of Wayne. Reports indicate that David W. Wright, 49, Gratiot, lost control of his ATV. The ATV went off the trail and Wright was ejected. Wright was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital. A passenger, Deanna J. Wright, 45, Gratiot, reported no injuries.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 3:59 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of 2nd Street. Reports indicate that Katherine Malloy, 22, New Glarus, backed into a vehicle driven by Mark A. Deal, New Glarus.
