GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• Denise D. Scott hit a deer in the W8300 block of Wisconsin 39, Town of York.

On Sunday:

• Robert L. Vock hit a deer in the N7800 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus.

• Nicholas C. Sabacker hit a deer in the W8000 block of Wisconsin 81, Town of Jordan.

On Monday:

• Mckenzie N. Counsell, 18, Madison, lost control of her vehicle while traveling north on Wisconsin 69 at 2:21 a.m. and entered the east ditch where the vehicle came to a rest in the N9600 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle was undamaged and air bags did not deploy. Counsell reported injuries and was taken to UW Hospital by New Glarus EMS. She was cited for a first offense driving while under the influence, driving without a valid license, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt. Counsell was released pending court.

• Thomas J. Cox, 73, Monroe, sustained injuries and was transported to Monroe Clinic ER after being hit by a car driven by Garrett J. Fox, 24, Monroe, at 4:36 p.m. in the W5400 block of County DR, Town of Monroe. Fox was cited for inattentive driving and failure to wear a seatbelt. The vehicle was driven from the scene. Fox was released pending court.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On June 27:

• No injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed into a legally parked car at 5:13 p.m. in the parking lot of a business on Industrial Drive. The crash remains under investigation.

• A pedestrian was transported to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries at 5:29 p.m. after being struck by Mark Jonas S. Estoya, 28, New Glarus, at the intersection of 14th Avenue and 2nd Street. Estoya was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk and inattentive driving.
