Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Chad D. Cassidy, 39, Monticello, and his passengers reported no injuries in a truck vs. goose collision on Wisconsin 69 just north of Urban Road in Monticello at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday, July 11. The impact broke the truck's windshield. Cassidy was able to drive the truck from the scene. The goose perished.

- Logan R. Zimmerman, 16, New Glarus, and his passengers reported no injuries in a van vs. deer collision on County H west of County N in the Town of New Glarus at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday, July 11. The van sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, after Regina L. Soddy, 57, Shullsburg, backed into a legally parked vehicle owned by Nicky Johnson, 56, Darlington, on Judgement Street in Shullsburg. The vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

- Jeffery L. Brunner, 56, Thomson, Illinois, reported no injuries at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, after the semi-tractor he was driving caught fire on County W in the Town of New Diggings. The Benton Fire Department and Benton First Response assisted at the scene. The semi-tractor was towed.

- Greg A. Richardson, 41, Verona, reported at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, that he hit a deer on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
