MONROE - No injuries were reported Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 14th Avenue and 16th Street. Marilyn S. Cash, 57, Monroe, was eastbound on 16th Street and failed to stop at a stop sign on 14th Avenue. A northbound vehicle on 14th Avenue hit Cash's vehicle. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Cash was cited at 3:11 p.m. for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 69 at Wisconsin 39, Village of New Glarus. Jeremiah J. Hocking, 22, Benton, was northbound on Wis. 69 when he rear ended a northbound vehicle driven by Carolyn S. Pope, 64, New Glarus. Hocking's vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Pope's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Hocking was cited at 7:15 a.m. for inattentive driving and released pending court.
