Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Nolan Lawrence Wiegel, 29, Argyle, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W5200 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Sylvester, at 1:01 a.m. Saturday. Wiegel was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front end of his vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

On Sunday:

• Damian M. Dressler, 28, Juda, and his passenger were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W2100 block of Town Center Road, Town of Spring Grove, at 1:04 a.m. Dressler was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Skyla S. Diaz, 19, Juda, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 11 near Smock Valley Road, Town of Monroe. Diaz was eastbound and lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, hit a fence and overturned. Diaz was transported by Monroe EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER. Diaz was cited at 8:50 a.m. for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, driving without proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending court. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Deputies and Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• Clay A. Spooner, 16, Albany, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of Dunphy Road and English Settlement Road, Town of Albany. Spooner was turning northbound onto English Settlement Road when his vehicle hit a utility pole. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Hannah R. Breen, 22, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle at 5:40 p.m. on South Dublin Road, Darlington Township, at 5:40 p.m. Friday.

• Jeffrey J. Houtakker, 51, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle at on Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township, 12:57 a.m. Sunday.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on 2nd Street at 2nd Avenue. John C. Mulhall, 88, Monroe, was cited at 4:26 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, for failure to yield from a stop sign after his vehicle hit another vehicle driven by Kristy L. Pulvermacher, 39, New Glarus. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.

• No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle slide-off accident on Glarner Drive. Investigation revealed that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to slippery roads and slid off into the ditch. The vehicle was not damaged and was towed from the ditch.
