MONROE - On Monday:
No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 7:09 a.m. at 18th Avenue and 4th Street. Robert A. Werren Jr., 28, Browntown, collided with a vehicle operated by a 40-year-old Browntown woman. Werren was cited for driving too fast for conditions and released pending court.

MONROE - On Jan. 15:
Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. in the N4000 block of Wis. 104 in the Town of Decatur. Adam C. Webb, 33, Beloit was southbound on Wis. 104 when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow-covered road. Webb's vehicle entered the ditch and struck a tree. Webb declined EMS. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
On Jan. 16:
No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 4:57 a.m. in the N1800 block of County S in the Town of Jefferson. Brandon D. Goznikar, 34, Monroe, was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle, entered the ditch and struck a fence. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 7:46 a.m. at the intersection of King Road and Freideig Road in the Town of Brooklyn. Nicole M. Davis, 40, Brooklyn, was eastbound on King Road when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow-covered road. Davis entered the ditch where she struck a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 5:25 p.m. in the N2300 block of Bloom Lane in the Town of Clarno. Dylan J. Wiegel, 26, Monroe, was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. The parked vehicle sustained minor damage. Wiegel's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On Jan. 17:
No injuries were reported during a crash that occurred at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 16, 2017 at the intersection of County C and County N in the Town of Washington. Deputies were advised of the crash at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 and an investigation revealed Gary J. Hartwig, 64, Browntown, stopped at the stop sign on County N facing the north. A vehicle operated by Casey D. Schwartzlow, 19, Monticello, was westbound on County C when he attempted to turn south on to County N, but cut it too short, colliding with Hartwig's vehicle. Both vehicle's sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene. The case remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle hit-and-run crash at 6:33 p.m. in the W400 block of St. John Road in the Town of Decatur.Nicolas M. Paris, 21, Brodhead, was southbound when he failed to negotiate the curve and struck a fence. Paris then left the scene. Paris' vehicle sustained minor front-end damage. Paris was cited for operating without a valid license (2nd w/in 3 years traffic crime), non-registration of auto and operating motor vehicle without insurance. Paris was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Jan. 16:
No injuries were reported when Kelsey K. Jean, 32, Darlington, struck a deer at 5:08 p.m. on Wis. 81, Lamont Township. Jean's 2007 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
Minor injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 6:49 p.m. on County J in Benton Township. Kaleb W. Polzin, 17, Cuba City, was traveling east on St. Rose Road in his 2003 Pontiac Sunfire when he failed to negotiate a curve, leaving the roadway and overturning, coming to rest on its top. Polzin's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Polzin was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control. Benton First and Cuba City EMS also responded.
On Jan. 17:
No injuries were reported when William R. Keehn, 49, Argyle, struck a deer at 6:32 p.m. on Wis. 81, Lamont Township. Keehn's 2005 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
