BRODHEAD - No injuries were reported at 8:10 p.m. Jan. 31 after a hit-and-run occurred in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. The case remains under investigation.
MONROE POLICE
MONROE - No injuries were reported at 9:18 p.m. Saturday after a hit-and-run in the 600 block of 4th Avenue. A vehicle reportedly struck a box alongside a building. John H. Allen, 62, Monroe, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was cited for committing a hit-and-run and driving with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration.

MONROE - On Friday, no injuries were reported at 1:09 p.m. after a hit-and-run collision in the W2600 block of Wisconsin 11. Rebecca A. Anderson, 44, Juda, was struck by another vehicle while she was waiting to enter a parking lot. The offending vehicle, which Anderson reported was a black Cadillac or Ford, left the scene after Anderson informed the driver she would call law enforcement. The driver had identified himself as a "Daniel" from Platteville and appeared to be in his late teens to early 20s. On Saturday:
No injuries were reported after Stephanie M. McKinstrey, 34, Warren, Illinois, struck a deer in the W7400 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.
No injuries were reported after Pamela J. Finley, 50, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W7700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.

DARLINGTON - On Sunday:
No injuries were reported at 7:08 p.m. after Penny J. Lovelace, 47, Argyle, struck a deer on County M, Town of Wiota. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
No injuries were reported at 7:36 p.m. after Kelli J. Ritschard, 45, Argyle, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
