New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25 on 1st Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Roland Fuerst, 27, New Glarus, backed into a vehicle owned by Ricardo Carrillo-Rodriguez, 27, Madison. Carrillo-Rodriguez's vehicle received extensive damage. Fuerst's vehicle received minor damage.

• Police are investigating a hit and run accident that was reported at about 6 p.m. Sunday on 6th Avenue near 3rd Street. Police report a vehicle owned by Christian E. Roman-Leija, 20, New Glarus, was hit by an unknown vehicle.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Monday at Wisconsin 69 and Valley View Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Leroy Siegenthaler, 63, Monticello, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Bryce E. Laube, 18, New Glarus. Laube was transported for injuries. Siegenthaler sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. The vehicles received extensive damage and were towed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Osmero Gonzalez, 36, Madison, left the road, went through the median and hit a rock wall due to slippery road conditions. He was cited for driving without a license and driving after suspension. He was released pending court. His vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Kathy A. Ahrens, 24, Freeport, Ill., hit a deer at about 10:30 a.m. Monday on County W in White Oak Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
