MONROE - On Wednesday:

• John W. Sanders, 43, Durand, Ill., was uninjured in a raccoon vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the N2200 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove, at 1:30 a.m. Sanders was southbound when a raccoon ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the front end, undercarriage and radiator, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

• Deer caused five separate vehicle accidents across Green County in the early morning hours and just before dusk, and no injuries were reported. Maradee K. N. Jacoby, 44, Blanchardville; Kevin J. Shea, 28, Blanchardville; Andrea L. Williams, 45, Argyle; and Lance T. Altmann, 44, Monroe, all sustained minor to moderate damage to their vehicles in the crashes. Greg J. Walsh, 59, Blanchardville, sustained severe damage to his vehicle. All vehicles were driven from the individual scenes of the accidents.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• David M. Pequin, 44, Blaine, Minn., reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Wisconsin 11, Wayne Township, at 6:03 p.m.

• Julie N. Davis, 51, Scales Mound, Ill., reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wisconsin 78, Gratiot Township, at 7:45 p.m.
