MONROE - Jared M. Steinmann, 35, Monroe, was cited for failing to yield right-of-way from a stop sign following a two-vehicle accident Friday, Dec. 27 at 15th Avenue and 9th Street in Monroe. A vehicle operated by Jean A. Pick, 42, collided with Steinmann's vehicle. Steinmann was released pending court. No injuries were reported and both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

MONROE - On Sunday, Dec. 29:
Joleen S. Lietz, 37, Belleville, was cited for driving too fast for conditions and possessing intoxicants in a motor vehicle as a driver after deputies were called to the W1900 block of Wis. 92 in Brooklyn Township for a vehicle in the ditch. Lietz was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle and entered a ditch. She was released pending court.
Robert A. Jacobsen, 83, New Glarus, was uninjured following a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 39 and 6th Avenue at 2nd Street in the Village of New Glarus reported at 7:57 a.m. Jacobsen was eastbound when his vehicle slid into a snow bank and hit a stop sign at the intersection. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
