MONROE - Deputies and Browntown Fire responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 2:44 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27 in the W8000 Block of County P in the Town of Cadiz. The driver reported he was uninjured but was unable to get out of the vehicle. David Pytak, 39, Hollandale, was traveling west on County P, west of Allen Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road, hit a wooden culvert post, entered the west ditch, and rolled over a culvert onto the passenger side coming to a rest facing west. Deputies broke out the rear window and assisted Pytak out of the vehicle. The vehicle had severe damage to all areas and it was towed from the scene. Both passenger and driver's side airbags deployed. Pytak was arrested for a first offense of driving while under the influence, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration and was cited for failing to maintain control of the vehicle. Pytak was released.

DARLINGTON - On Friday, Dec. 27:
• Michelle R. Abfalder, 33, Mineral Point, reported sliding into the ditch at 11:14 a.m. on Palmer Road in Darlington Township. Abfalder reported no injuries.
• Barbara J. Jenson, 44, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer 9:38 p.m. on County N in Argyle Township.
On Saturday, Dec. 28
• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 11:04 a.m. on County E in Shullsburg Township. Alan D. Wagner, 22, Shullsburg, was southbound on County E. Prior to Wagner reaching the intersection of Glenville Road and County E, a Shullsburg Township plow went through and left a row of snow on County E. Wagner hit the snow prior to the plow returning to clear the roadway. Wagner and his passenger reported no injuries. Wagner's vehicle had moderate damage and it was driven from the scene.
• Jenilyn Venden, 38, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:26 p.m. on Springbrook Road in Wiota Township.
n Thomas A. Kliebenstein, 48, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:55 p.m. on Truman Road in Kendall Township.
