BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On Dec. 15, police responded at 6:37 p.m. to a non-reportable traffic crash in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday, a minor traffic collision was reported at 7:18 p.m. after a vehicle slid into another vehicle stopped in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue due to weather conditions.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - A driver was injured at 7:51 p.m. Friday after a two-vehicle collision in the 100 block of 8th Street. Benjamin W. Seed, 16, Edgerton, struck a vehicle driven by Shaun L. Koss, 34, Albany. Koss reported a minor injury but declined treatment. Seed was cited for driving too fast for conditions and Koss was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 2:01 p.m. after Joyce A. Brannan, 65, Albany, struck two road signs on Wisconsin 59, Town of Monroe, after losing control of her vehicle due to road conditions. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• A driver received minor injuries at 2:18 p.m. after Savannah R. White, 18, Brodhead, struck a rock embankment on Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove, after losing control of her vehicle due to road conditions. White declined treatment for her injuries. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. A second driver, Benjamin C. Roper, 22, Waukesha, was injured at 2:25 p.m. while attempting to avoid White's accident scene. He lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment. Roper was transported to Monroe ER. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 2:41 p.m. after Byron E. Freeman, 46, Whitewater, slid into a ditch in the W1900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove after losing control on the snowy road. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• A driver was injured and arrested at 5:18 p.m. after Robert W. Holst Jr., 42, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and slid into a ditch, where it rolled over onto its side. Holst was injured and transported to the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Holst was cited for driving with a revoked license and arrested on a Grant County warrant. His vehicle sustained severe damage.

• No injuries were reported at 6:58 p.m. after Anthony S. Gamez, 41, Argyle, lost control of his vehicle in the W9400 block of Wis. 81, Town of Adams, and struck an embankment. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:39 p.m. after Joseph T. Klessinger, 17, Juda, struck a tree and several mailboxes in the N3000 block of Middle Juda Road, Town of Jefferson, after losing control of his vehicle while attempting to skirt around a parked vehicle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:51 p.m. after Mikah E. Holloway, 23, Hopkins, Minn., struck a road sign after losing control of her vehicle in the N600 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:53 a.m. after Dakota B. Thompson, 16, Browntown, lost control of her vehicle in the W9400 block of Smock Valley Road, Town of Monroe, striking a fence and several trees before stopping. Thompson was cited for having tires with insufficient tread depth. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 6 p.m. after Laura M. Bak Mahlkuck, 51, Browntown, struck a deer in the W9000 block of County B, Town of Cadiz. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• A driver was injured at 4:46 a.m. after Zachary T. Blumenberg, 30, Argyle, lost control of his vehicle on County Y, Town of Jordan, and rolled over once. Blumenberg was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital. Blumenberg was cited for driving while intoxicated (first offense), driving too fast for conditions, a seatbelt violation, driving without a valid license and giving a false name to police. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:52 p.m. after Cara A. Klitzman, 43, Brooklyn, struck a deer in the W2300 block of County C, Town of Brooklyn. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:58 p.m. after Judith A. Erickson, 76, Brodhead, struck a deer in the W800 block of County F, Town of Decatur. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 1:13 p.m. after Jeanne M. Meier, 76, slid into a ditch on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 5:03 p.m. after Emily V. McPhillips, 24, North Stockton, Ill., slid off the roadway on County W, Town of Benton.

• No injuries were reported at 5:25 p.m. after Terri J. Bennett, 48, Shullsburg, overturned in a ditch on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot, after losing control on the icy roadway.

• No injuries were reported at 5:38 p.m. after a three-vehicle accident on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. Glen M. Sperry, 47, Darlington, struck the vehicle of MaryLou K. Stampfl, 59, Pleasant Prairie, after she stopped at the intersection of Wis. 11 and County KK. Sperry's vehicle then struck a guard rail before being struck by a vehicle driven by William E. Kliebenstein, 57, Franklin. All three vehicles were damaged and Kliebenstein's was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:10 p.m. after Sydney E. Schulte, 23, Darlington, stuck a bridge guard rail on County D, Town of Wayne, after losing control of her vehicle on the icy road. Her vehicle received minor damage.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 3:18 p.m. after a two-vehicle accident on Flogel Lane, Town of Belmont. Daniel D. Nodolf, 48, Belmont, was driving a tractor pulling a manure spreader, which struck the vehicle of Melinda K. Mathew, 24, Platteville, as she attempted to pass him. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 5:32 p.m. after Cheryl L. Mosley, 62, Darlington, struck a deer on Gun Club Road, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police with a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 81 in Darlington.
