MONROE - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11 near Wisconsin 69 at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18. Kelli R. Metzler, 54, Davis, Ill., lost control due to the icy conditions. Her vehicle slid into the grassy median and rolled on its side, hitting a metal guardrail. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed. The guardrail also sustained moderate damage.

• No injuries were reported after vehicles driven by Wayne M. Kaiser, 38, Orangeville, Ill., and Jeanne L. Hermanson, 55, Browntown, collided at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the intersection of Wis. 69 and 8th Street. The vehicles sustained minor damage.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision on Wis. 69 south of Cold Springs Road in the Town of Monroe at 6:01 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18. Denise A. Thorp, 39, Monroe, and a passenger were southbound when several deer entered their lane of travel. Thorp stopped and avoided hitting the deer. Heather L. Hofmaster, 25, Belleville, was following too closely and rearended Thorp. Hofmaster's vehicle sustained minor front-end damage. Thorp's vehicle sustained moderate rear-end damage. Both were driven from the scene.
