MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at about 2 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 69 at Chesebro Lane. A vehicle driven by LuzMaria Fuentas Velazquez, 38, Monroe, was slowing for a vehicle in front of her that was turning right onto Chesebro Lane. A vehicle driven by Mary F. Cordio, 27, Stoughton, did not see that Velazquez was slowing because of the sun in her eyes and struck the rear of the Velazquez vehicle. The Velazquez vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The Cordio vehicle received extensive front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at about 7 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 69 South of Exeter Crossing Road. Barbara A. Coomber, 69, Freeport, reported she rear-ended a vehicle that stopped in her lane of traffic. The vehicle that was struck left the scene. The Coomber vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Incident remains under investigation.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on the westbound on ramp to Wis. 11 from the Argyle interchange in Monroe township. Police report a vehicle operated by Patrick J. Graham 32, Monroe, turned left from the off-ramp onto Wis. 69 southbound and failed to yield the right of way to Bonnie J. Gordon, 26, South Wayne, who was northbound on Wis. 69 turning westbound onto Wis. 11. Both vehicles driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday on Wis. 39 west of Wis. 78. Martha J. Armes 62, Edgerton, lost control of her vehicle due to slippery road conditions The vehicle left the road on the south side and struck an embankment. The vehicle sustained extensive front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

• Deputies were dispatched at about 9 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a hit and run accident to a mailbox that occurred on County K, .2 mile north of Five Corner Road in Clarno township. Incident remains under investigation.

• Deputies were dispatched to investigate a hit and run accident to a parked vehicle at about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot at Green County Government Services buildings at N3151 Wisconsin 81, Monroe township. Police report a vehicle struck a vehicle owned by Deborah S. Marino, 58, McFarland, while legally parked in the parking lot. Marino's vehicle sustained minor left front quarter damage. Incident remains under investigation.

Lafayette County

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 151 in Kendall township. (no other information)

• No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on County D in Wayne township. Scott M. Berget, 25, Argyle, was operating a farm tractor pulling a large piece of farm machinery, and moved to the right to accommodate an oncoming vehicle. The machinery struck an utility guide wire, causing the wire to break and moderate damage to the piece of machinery.
